Before I delve further into the Virgo experience let’s step back and look at her forefathers (Virgo is a feminine sign represented by the Virgin). Aries is the “I AM” that brings us into existence and Taurus’s “I HAVE” represents the manifestation of the physical things to make it possible. Gemini’s “I THINK” gathers information and communicates this to the world. We shift from this mental plane to Cancer “I FEEL” and the emotional magnitude of caring for others; to Leo “I WILL” that creates a unique self-identity. The Virgo “I ANALZE” soul is read to step out into the world, but first it must perfect itself. Unfortunately this can be laden with self-doubt, insecurities and fears. Like a fine sculptor they may chip, polish and buff themselves to perfection for everyone to admire; or spend a lifetime chipping stone oblivious everything. Perfection isn’t an easy task! Did I mention their need for perfection?
It’s great to come this far in life but now what? Virgo seeks a higher purpose in life and a quest for a grander vision of life beyond our inward expression of self. It is the stage to refine ones self into being our greatest in preparation for the next stage of partnership – Libra. One can’t really experience true couple-hood without a solid sense of self. Many people try and well, some just like the bumpy ride because they went ahead and jumped in before doing the work. This massive effort of total refinement isn’t an easy task! It takes dedication, hard work and focus. This is too challenging for Aries who just takes action anyway or Gemini who will just think and talk about it. Leo creates the possibility but it takes the earthy dedication, precision and perfectionism of Virgo to make it happen. Did I mention Virgo needs perfection?
Are you getting the point? It’s all about perfection for a Virgo, although some will try to play this off and say they aren’t like that. Don’t believe them. They are. Virgos are typically born to parents in conflict or strife that creates an undercurrent of isolation and feeling disconnected. This is true even when many Virgo’s have suffocating and over protective parents. This creates a world of vulnerability that feeds off the self-doubt that they will either master or it will master them.
This turmoil will either propel to grow others or keep them from everyone. They are destined to work, serve and be of help to others. His or her real success will be on the foundation of everyone’s success. If they climb the mountain helping everyone there will be people to celebrate with. If they climb the mountain stepping over everyone it will be very lonely at the top. Human perfection is the lifelong quest of imperfect human Virgo’s but how can you not try? Virgo’s can’t and will spend their life at it – and you! You must be able to take this on if you’re going to take on a Virgo partner.
When it comes to sex you’ll either be ok with a Virgo thus far or you won’t. If you’re not, then you should move on to another sign while you have the chance! A life full of perfection will only be more intense, not less. If this doesn’t frighten you then you’re probably a sign that either balances this drive or it balances you. Some men will like the challenge of living up to female Virgo standards. On the flip side of that, women seeking a fatherly type of relationship will often be able to handle a hypercritical Virgo male.
The Virgo Woman
The Virgo woman just does not get excited about sex. It’s not that she doesn’t like it, want it or need it – it’s just one of those necessities of life. It’s an every day chore just like vacuuming and to enjoy what it has to offer; it must be done just right. Courtship to this woman isn’t an “in-order-to” type of process – it is a life long event. For others, courtship is a stage to get through “in-order-to” get to the physical realm. You might say it’s like winning the “grand prize” at the fair. A Virgo woman is content just attending the fair and if they (rather you) win the grand prize, great, but back to the fair when it’s over. There is much to do to perfect things in that world. Once you are in the bedroom with a Virgo woman it’s clear what you’re there for and things are managed to ensure it happens perfectly. Just go with this because it will make her happy and then she’ll be able to make you happy. Would you really want to take a Virgin against the oak tree like a Sagittarius or tie her up in bondage like Scorpio? No, you want to lay her on a beautiful white bed in delightful surroundings and slowly, gently bring her to sensual utopia.
The Virgo Man
This keen, practical man has a set of very high standards. You are either a woman who feels you meet his standards already or a woman who is willing to do so – with hypercritical direction from this male. If you’re shaking your head and saying “I don’t think so!” then stop reading, don’t call him and just keep it moving. A Virgo male does not go around looking for relationships, females or sex. They are far too busy organizing their life, making their business successful or doing something practical to increase the value of life for them selves. They are brother to Sagittarius, the other Bachelor of the Zodiac. Virgo males just simply don’t have the time to mess with this when there is so much to do to further a career or private fortune. They will venture into to love but count on it being methodical and practical.
They won’t set eyes on you like an Aries or Sagittarian male and hunt you until they get you. It just sort of happens accidentally. Initial meetings may be casual but don’t count on the same for a date. If you make it to this stage be prepared for practical perfection. This means being on time for all things all the time. Punctuality is a way of life and you’ll need to conform to survive (this in itself practically rules out a Gemini partner). He’ll know exactly where he wants to take you and plan the evening from start to finish and every detail in between. Impromptu changes or events will not fare well for this man so don’t expect that when he drives you home he’ll want to take you in the car – that’s Sagittarius. Don’t expect the nurturing sensitivity of a Cancer of Pisces male – he’s way to practical for that. And lastly, don’t expect him to leap into a union that isn’t well thought out, planned and prepared for – unlike Libra or Aries.
What this means is you need to tell him when you want him to spend the night so he can plan. Much like the female Virgo, this allows him to prepare so he has what he needs to enjoy the event. This will likely include fresh clothes, toiletries, an alarm and maybe even a map to make sure he doesn’t get lost. Like the female Virgin this man is clean, expects you to be clean (make it a habit to shower before and after sex) as well as the environment. Imagine sex with a Greek Virgin God. He is perfectly groomed, fit, clean and wrapped in a white loincloth. The room smells good, has white sheets and is a simple environment to enjoy a subtle and sensual union. This will lack the roar of Leo, exotic sensuality of Scorpio or adventure of Sagittarius, but it’s solid and good.
